In 2005, Romano Ricci launched the fragrance project Juliette Has a Gun. As Nina Ricci’s grandson, Romano named the company after the tragic Shakespearean character. The noses behind the 21 fragrances are Francis Kukdijan and Romano Ricci. The first few fragrances were based on the rose due to the famous way a man shows his love for a woman. The perfumes are created mainly for women with the occasional unisex scent such as this one.
