Nice Frangrance
My Mother loved this fragrance and wore it often. I find that it has changed somewhat over the years with the gardenia not quite as strong. Somewhat of a disappointment but still a nice fragrance. I will use it but I don't think I would buy it again.

I love the smell of gardenia and was excited for this to arrive. It dies smell great but it doesn't last. Not a fragrance for work since it doesn't hold up. A night out with friends, that's works.

Terrible smell
I ordered this because I love gardenias. However, this smells terrible, unlike the flower after which it is named. I cannot stand the smell, and I don't know of anyone I can give it to who might like it.

I used to buy this when I was in my 20's I haven't seen it in a while. Imagine how I felt when I saw it on this site! I had to have it! It is the prettiest scent ever! I love Gardenia! This is a knock out perfume! The scent attracts everyone! If you smell it you want it! Absolutely fab!

Doesn't smell even close to the original and I bought it because it was my mom's favorite and she wore it all the time. I thought it would bring me memories of her and nothing. Very disappointed.

I would buy again
Jovan tends to offer strong scented colognes and I have experience it in the past, so I knew purchasing Island Gardenia would be no different. Applying less is better for me and for a truer Gardenia scent overall with my body chemistry, as I personally don't want to be a walking garden.
