Jo Malone began designing fragrances after starting out as a florist and beautician in her native Uk. She started by selling nutmeg and ginger bath oil to her clients before branching out and opening her first London boutique in 1994. Since 1990, Malone has released more than 100 fragrances for men and women. The brand was acquired by cosmetics giant Estee Lauder in 1994. A second fragrance line, Jo Loves, began in 2011. Malone’s fragrances enjoy worldwide distribution.
