Jo Malone Elderflower & Gooseberry by Jo Malone Perfume.
Jo Malone Elderflower & Gooseberry is like a blast of summertime, presenting an exquisite yet simple potpourri of scents. It could be described as delicate, sweet, and floral, leaning toward the feminine side. It takes on three ingredients, which are elderflower, gooseberry, and lychee, a most enticing assortment. Let’s start out with gooseberry, a somewhat sweet and tart fruit that may smell like a cross between currant and kiwi. Then
there’s elderflower (sambucus), which yields elderberries. Their scent is heavily fragrant and floral, and as some say, just like summer. Lychee is reminiscent of juicy grape, sugary and rosy.
Jo Malone Elderflower & Gooseberry perfume was released in 2013. It’s a part of the Sugar & Spice collection, which includes five dessert-type fragrances. Christine Nagel, a former Genevan perfumer, collaborated on these limited editions. The manufacturer, Joe Malone, is a London-based perfumery that has released scents since 1990. Their creations usually revolve around few primary constituents.
