She is the only Asian scent designer to have been accepted as a member of the prestigious La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne. After studying Japanese Literature at the Woman's Christian College, Toyko, Hanae Mori married and began studying fashion design. In 1951 she launched her first tiny studio in Tokyo, and quickly gained a name for herself in the world of post-war cinema. In 1996 she finally introduced her very own signature perfume line, drawing inspiration from fresh scents of a lush springtime flower gardens.
Born in 1926 in Yoshkia Japan, Hanae Mori is the most internationally renowned female fashion designer in her country.
