Samsara Sensual Spirit by Guerlain Perfume. Sensual Spirit is a roll-on edition of Jean-Paul Guerlain’s Samsara, which originally launched in 1989.
This light, warm, and woody oriental fragrance presents top notes of bergamot, ylang-ylang and lemon over a complex floral heart integrating iris, jasmine, orris root, rose, and narcissus. Rich base notes of sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, musk, and vanilla round out this balsamic and floral scent. This version of the fragrance is long lasting with
moderate to heavy sillage.
Samsara Sensual Spirit is packaged in a scarlet red roll-on container with a tall gold cap. The name of the fragrance is printed in gold near the top of the bottle and the name of the brand appears near the bottom. The name of the fragrance and brand are also printed in gold on the scarlet outer carton and the edition appears in glowing capital letters with a corresponding graphic.
This perfume house was founded in 1828, and Jean-Paul Guerlain launched his first edition, Vetiver, in 1959. The flagship boutique in Paris reopened in 2005.
As one of the oldest French perfume houses in the world, Guerlain can still hold its own in this day and age.
