It is the successor to the brand’s scent from the previous year and it declares it as a fragrance ‘designed to celebrate the authenticity, vitality and joyful energy of women’. The name translates to ‘water of flowers’ and this is embodied in the scent. The top notes are galbanum and blackcurrant. The heart notes are floral and consist of jasmine, tuberose and Rangoon creeper, also known as Chinese
honeysuckle. The base notes are musk and sandalwood.
Guccio Gucci was born in Italy, in 1881. He founded the fashion house that would take his last name in 1921. The company originally sold leather bags and before long it was known worldwide for its clothing, beauty products, cosmetics and accessories. The packaging for this perfume represents the flowers mentioned in its name. The box resembles an antique floral print and the pale pink bottle has the same pattern.
