Georges Rech Femme by Georges Rech Perfume. Georges Rech Femme is a delightful, feminine fragrance with top notes of black currant and citrus.
Sometimes referred to in the French industry as “bourgeons de cassis,” the black currant is a versatile ingredient, used in everything from jams to teas. The scent is fruity, but not very sweet. At the heart is the ever fresh and floral jasmine. The base is made from notes of aromatic sandalwood, patchouli, and powdery vanilla. Lovely for evening
occasions, the appealing aroma will linger through the night.
Known as a pioneer in Paris fashion, Georges Rech built his first collection in 1960. Rech created ready-to-wear luxury pieces that were highly sought after. Later, Rech established the brands Synonym, in 1973, and Unanyme, just ten years later. His designs became more fluid, less structured. He even ventured into raincoats. When Rech retired in 1990, he sold the company to Courtaulds. The company changed hands multiple times until they settled with the Apostrophe group in 2005.
