Details and Care
Launched in 1972, Aliage is a floral fragrance created for women by Estee Lauder. Scent designers Francis Camail and Bernard Chant included such intoxicating scent notes as artemisia, cedar and vetiver. Known as the "very first sports fragrance," the scent combines woody aromas with green and citrus notes to create a fresh and energetic fragrance. Aliage was largely thought to be ahead of its time in the perfume industry, having been made for the casual woman who is on the go during the day. The simple bottle is as bright and beautiful as the perfume itself.

Questions and Answers
Q: How does Estee Lauder Aliage perfume smell?
A: Dewy spring mornings will come to mind when you spritz on Aliage perfume for women, by Estee Lauder. Zesty top notes of citrus blend into fragrant rose and nutmeg as the middle notes. The earthy base notes of oakmoss, cedar and vetiver keep this fragrance from becoming too bright. The result is a fragrance that you can wear to work or out with friends without worry of it becoming too overpowering.
Q: Where do you apply Aliage perfume?
A: To increase the longevity of the feminine fragrance, spray onto your major pulse points such as behind your ears, at the base of your neck, on the wrists, behind the knees and in the inner elbows.
Q: What is the fragrance concentration?
A: Aliage is an eau de parfum and a stronger fragrance than eau de toilettes and eau de colognes. Eau de parfums contain 15-20% essential oils, which are useful for creating a strong fragrance with distinct scent notes.
Q: Is it for him or her?
A: Estee Lauder created Aliage with women in mind, but anybody who likes woody and aromatic fragrances is welcome to wear this scent.
Q: Does Aliage perfume last long?
A: Eau de parfums like Aliage perfume have an average lasting power of 4-6 hours. However, your personal body chemistry, the way you apply your fragrance and the environment outside determine exactly how long your scent lasts. Your scent will last longer if you apply it right after you shower and moisturize your skin.
Q: What fragrances smell similar?
A: Fragrances that smell similar to Estee Lauder's Aliage include Aramis by Devin Aramis, Jean-Louis Scherrer by Jean-Louis Scherrer and Givenchy III by Givenchy.
Q: What season should I wear it?
A: Estee Lauder Aliage is a fragrance that you can wear all year round. The bright top notes of citrus and jasmine combined with the sweet rose and nutmeg create scent notes that wear well in the spring and summer months. However, the earthy vetiver, cedar and oakmoss base notes ensure it smells just as good during the fall and winter months.
Q: Where can I buy it?
A: Perfume.com is perhaps one of the best online fragrance retailers because we offer the widest selection of authentic perfumes and colognes, competitive pricing and top-notch customer service.
