Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Patchouli was designed in 2011 by Rodrigo Flores-Roux for the Velvet Collection. The top notes of patchouili make for a musky, earthy aroma that is just as charming as it is unique. Its heart notes of kephalis—a rich amber—combines well with the bottom notes of musk and results in a warm, spicy fragrance appropriate for both men and women. Wear it to out dinner or spritz it on before a night on the town.
Gabbana was founded in 1985, and released their first fragrance in 1992. The fashion house’s Velvet Collection was created in 2011 and consists of a variety of velvety smooth fragrances designed to be combined and complement each other. This particular scent is bottled in a clear square glass bottle with a black velvet-enrobed cap and is nestled in a black velvet box, as is the rest of the collection.
