Diptyque Genevrier by Diptyque Perfume. As soon as you light the Diptyque Genevrier candle in your home, you will experience the sensation of walking
through a forest of vibrant conifers. There are many tart, bitter and fruity accords to be found in this particular candle. Its ingredient list includes cypress, guaiac wood, fir balsam, cedarwood and juniper berries.
The Diptyque brand has origins dating back to the 1960s. Desmond Knox-Leet and Christiane Gautrot are two of the founders, and
they worked together designed wallpaper and fabrics for Liberty and Sanderson. In 1961, the pair was joined by Yves Coueslant, who had worked as a set designer and theater director. It was at this time the trio opened their first shop to sell their designs to the public. The company quickly expanded to include a wide offering of products, including fragrances, home furnishings and candles. In 2005, the brand house was acquired by Manzanita Capital, which is a private equity fund based out of London.
