Diptyque Florabellio by Diptyque Perfume.
A marine floral fragrance launched in 2015, Diptyque Florabellio is a sweet and seductive scent created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. The top notes open with sea notes, salt, and sea fennel, before blending into the middle heart notes of apple blossom and osmanthus blossom. The base is made up of roasted coffee beans and roasted sesame seeds. It is a wondrous salty-flowery fragrance that is lovely for daytime wear in warmer months.
Founded in 1961,
Diptyque was brought into being in Paris by three different artists, and began as a home furnishings and printed fabrics salon. Painter Desmond Knox-Leet, textile designer Christiane Gautrot, and set designer Yves Coueslant released their first fragrance in 1968, and today there are more than 50 fragrances under the brand. The three friends use inspiration from their travels together to create new fragrances, which also go into the scented candles that started them on their path to the perfume world.
