Fresh, Clean Scent
This surprised me by pinpointing the exact scent of fresh rainfall mixed with a hint of cucumber, and honeydew cantaloupe. It's a gorgeous scent and though it's the lightest, cleanest scent made by Demeter, it still remains long-lasting.

I have to say that it smells very different from what I expe
It was not what I expected. I'll use it but sparingly. I like 4711 original much better. That was what I expected the original scent would be clean with a bit of citrus. I also don't give perfume as gifts. It's too personal a choice. Unless I know of a perfume someone may wear.
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend to a friend

Not what I was looking for
Arrived leaking. This is the second item purchased from perfume.com to arrive with top ajar and leaking. The smell is ok but is not what I was looking for based on the name. Website did not give accurate description of fragrance notes so had to just hope for the best based on the name. Does not smell like fresh outdoors during rain.
