Demeter Punch by Demeter Cologne. Demeter Punch delights the senses with the fragrance aroma of the classic party beverage.
This drink’s history begins far before it was served at your grandma’s soirees. Originating in India, punch’s name comes from the Hindi word “panch,” which means “five.” Demeter’s unisex fragrance honors this timeless drink with notes of sugar, tea, lemon and rum. Wearers may also detect tropical and fruity undertones. This is no surprise since the Indian beverage uses a
dark sugary liquor called “arrack” that’s made from fermented coconut sugar.
Demeter Fragrance Library and its European division, The Library of Fragrance, offer an extensive collection with almost 400 fragrances. These range from traditional scents like Patchouli to unusual offerings like Spacewalk. Experimental perfumer Christopher Brosius and business partner Christopher Gable developed an innovative approach – bottle aromas from everyday life with formulas using higher concentrations of perfume oil. Though each scent comes in a similar square bottle and label, each offers a distinctive sensory experience.
