The newly formed company launched its first three scents in 1993 in partnership with Henri Bendel department stores. The innovative debut fragrances quickly caught on and showed the world what Demeter was about: bottling aromas from nature and everyday life with long-lasting formulas containing a higher perfume oil concentration. This success paved the way for the company to establish its European arm, The Library of Fragrance, in 2015.
