Great fragrance, poorly presented

I love the smell of this, I like fragrances that smell of sweets or fruit: chocolate; caramel; vanilla; strawberry etc. This smells like the foam banana sweets from the 80's. I do feel it is a little expensive for the quality and I have bought several bottles over the years and always encounter the same problem: the spray stops working before the bottle is empty so anything up to half the bottle has to be applied by unscrewing the top and randomly splashing which is messy and also takes the varnish off your furniture!! But I like it sufficiently to keep ordering it so it must be good!
