Cosmopolitan by Demeter Perfume. Cosmopolitan is a women’s chypre floral perfume that was announced in 2004.
The fragrance notes are lime, orange, cranberry, and vodka. Instead of a classical pyramid structure of top, middle, and base notes, this fragrance has linear composition. This daytime scent works best in the summer months.
Perfumer Christopher Brosius is the nose for this fragrance, which is in a simple flacon with a silver cap and a white label with black print and a cranberry-colored
band with the fragrance name. Brosius founded Demeter with fellow perfumer Christopher Gable in 1992 in his family’s Pennsylvania farm after serving as the creative director for Kiehl’s from 1988-1992. This brand’s fragrances are made from natural components, and its library contains more than 300 fragrances. The brand is best known for scents such as Dirt, Snow, and Sugar Cane. Brosius left the company he founded in 2004, but the brand continues producing new scents.
