In 1760 James Henry Creed founded his eponymous perfume house in London. Their first royal commission came from King George Iii in 1781, and the fragrance Royal English Leather was born. In 1760 the house relocated to Paris, where is still based today. The house has stayed in the hands of the Creed family. Today Olivier Creed is master perfumer.
