Carolina Herrera began as a fashion designer in 1980 and later began creating fragrances through a Spanish company called Puig. Puig later absorbed her fashion house in 1995 while appointing Herrera as the Creative Director. Her daughter is now the Creative Director and continues to produce enchanting fragrances.
