Cacharel has been a huge name in the perfume industry since its founding by Jean Bousquet in 1962. The company hit it big when one of the designer’s pink shirts appeared on the cover of Elle magazine in 1963, which prompted the fashion company to gain attention and continue to grow rapidly throughout the 1970s. The first scent, Anais Anais (the precursor to this scent) was launched in 1978, and saw huge success, which allowed the company to create 66 perfumes since.
