One of the many successors to one of Cacharel’s most successful perfumes yet, Anais Anais Premier Delice provides an interesting composition of notes that perfume aficionados everywhere are certain to enjoy. Cacharel has been a huge name in the perfume industry since its founding by Jean Bousquet in 1962. The company hit it big when one of the designer’s pink shirts appeared on the cover of Elle magazine in 1963, which prompted the fashion company to gain attention and continue to grow rapidly throughout the 1970s. The first scent, Anais Anais (the precursor to this scent) was launched in 1978, and saw huge success, which allowed the company to create 66 perfumes since.
Born into the Parisian fashion industry in 1932 as the son of a sewing machine salesman, Jean Louis Henri Bousquet trained as a tailor and worked as a designer for two years before launching his own fashion house. Cacharel was born in 1962 and provided inspiration during a time of social upheaval for women. Brightly coloured skirts and blouses with natural lines gave Cacharel a certain flair and modernity and with that came mass market appeal....
