Di Borghese by Borghese Perfume. Di Borghese by Borghese has been in production since 1978.
It’s a classic in women’s fragrances, featuring a lovely ingredient blend that has bewitched people for decades. The accords are classified as chypre. At the top are citrus notes of bergamot and peach, along with resinous galbanum and nuances of greenery. The main body is composed of sweeter, exotic floral notes including jasmine, hyacinth, clove, narcissus, and lily of the valley. At the bottom are
aromatic notes of orris root, cedar, musk, amber, sandalwood, moss, and spices for a powdery and clean finish.
Borghese is an Italian company that primarily sells cosmetics, though a couple fragrances are produced. Princess Marcella Borghese started the family business in 1958, and she continued to participate in it for nearly fifty years. She began with her own line of lipsticks and nail polish. Besides Di Borghese, the newest and only other scent available from the company was released in 1993.
