The scent opens with exotic, intoxicating top notes of incense, cardamom and pink pepper. Beneath, the heart of the fragrance is created by notes of vanilla, labdanum, atlas cedar and ginger. Laurice Rahme was one of the first women to own a perfumery when she opened Bond No. 9 in 2003. The New York City-based business has five boutiques and creates scents inspired by the city’s neighborhoods and sights. Customers who visit the boutiques can even make their own custom perfume formulas. Platinum is part of a line of fragrances modeled after precious gems and metals, incorporating global ingredients that epitomize Dubai.
