Annick Goutal began her career in the fashion world as a model and pianist. Her first perfume collection was launched in 1980, after she discovered her love for the art while perfecting a facial cream with a company she was modeling for. Though the brand has been claimed by a few different companies over the decades, Goutal’s daughter continues to handle the design operations since the founder’s death in 1999.
