A versatile scent launched in October 2016, Annick Goutal Tenue De Soiree is light enough for the office yet will last throughout the day. It starts out with top notes of blackcurrant and bergamot and features floral heart notes of jasmine, rose and iris. The perfume finishes with base notes of sweet caramel and woody patchouli along with leather and white musk.
Annick Goutal did not open her first perfume shop until 1981. Before that,
she worked as a pianist and even spent time as a model. Then, after having her daughter Camille and beating breast cancer, Goutal started a skin cream company with a friend. Only when she met perfumer Henri Sorsana did she realize her true calling. She eventually built one of the most respected fragrance brands in France. Her company's creations rely on raw, natural materials and invoke some of the people and locations most important to Goutal. The brand is also known for its beautifully crafted bottles, complete with hand-made decorations.
Annick Goutal, the late-blooming fragrance connoisseur, came to her scents late after a lauded early career as pianist and model.
