The heart is wrapped around sweet, fluffy heliotrope and fruity labdanum. A bite of cinnamon adds sensuous pleasure to the middle. The base is most noticeable: a blend of heady whiskey and rich, nuanced tobacco forms an earthy compact, throughout which the complex tones of Hinoki wood dances. Sometimes leathery, sometimes citrus, it’s always invigorating and inviting, like a dip in a hot spring or climbing into freshly laundered linens.
