Amouage Portrayal by Amouage Cologne. Amouage Portrayal represents our inner desire to be our true self, even if our beliefs are unconventional.
It is inspired by the rebellious bohemian culture of the 1920s and those who pushed for social change. Violet leaves are present in the top of the scent, and the middle note of vetiver adds masculinity. The cade oil in the base of this 2019 fragrance creates a memorable finish.
The Sultan of Oman founded the Amouage perfume house in 1983 in an attempt
to restore the art of fragrance production in Arabia. Famous noses from other companies, including Guy Robert and Pierre Negrin, create the brand’s scents using traditional Middle Eastern ingredients. The company’s perfumes come in bottles shaped like the Palace Ruwi Mosque. The colognes, meanwhile, are sold in bottles reminiscent of Oman's traditional dagger. This particular fragrance comes in a bottle with a pearl finish and a blue crystal. The bottle is housed in a blue jacquard box.
