Details and Care for Rose Profond

Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini is a luxurious floral fragrance that pays deep homage to one of the most beloved and timeless ingredients in perfumery: the rose. Questions And Answers

How does Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini smell?

Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini smells like a rich, velvety, and deeply romantic floral fragrance. The opening is bright and slightly spicy with bergamot and pink pepper, which quickly give way to a lush heart of rose, peony, and iris. The dry down reveals warm, sensual base notes of sandalwood, amber, musk, and patchouli that give this rose perfume remarkable depth and a lingering, luxurious finish.

Is Rose Profond Perfume a true rose fragrance - does it actually smell like roses?

Yes, Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini is widely regarded as one of the most authentic and immersive rose perfumes available. Unlike lighter floral scents that merely hint at rose, Rose Profond places the rose note front and center - rich, velvety, and unmistakable. Paired with peony and iris, the rose accord is beautifully full-bodied and true to nature, making it a top choice for anyone searching for a perfume that genuinely smells like real roses.

What is the fragrance concentration of Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini?

Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini is an eau de parfum, featuring a fragrance oil concentration typically between 15% and 20%. This concentration level delivers a noticeably rich and powerful scent that lasts significantly longer than an eau de toilette, making it ideal for those who want their fragrance to remain present and detectable throughout the day and evening.

Is Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini for him or for her?

Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini is crafted and marketed as a women's fragrance. Its opulent rose heart, delicate peony, and warm oriental base make it a deeply feminine and luxurious scent. That said, fragrance is personal, and anyone drawn to rich floral and oriental compositions is welcome to explore and enjoy it.

Why is rose perfume so expensive?

Rose perfume tends to be expensive because rose absolute and rose otto - the essential oils extracted from rose petals - are among the most labor-intensive and yield-poor ingredients in all of perfumery. It takes thousands of hand-harvested rose petals to produce just a single gram of rose oil. Luxury rose fragrances like Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini reflect this rarity and craftsmanship in both their quality and their price point.

How long does Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini last?

As an eau de parfum, Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini typically lasts between 6 to 8 hours on the skin. The warm base notes of sandalwood, amber, and patchouli help anchor the fragrance and extend its longevity considerably. Applying to pulse points on moisturized skin can help maximize the wear time even further.

Where should you apply Rose Profond Perfume?

For the best results and longest wear, apply Rose Profond Perfume to the pulse points - including the wrists, the base of the neck, behind the ears, the inner elbows, and behind the knees. These warm areas of the body help the fragrance bloom and radiate throughout the day.

What season is Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini best suited for?

Rose Profond by Alyson Oldoini is a versatile fragrance that shines in cooler months, particularly fall and winter, when its warm oriental base of amber, sandalwood, and patchouli feels especially cozy and enveloping. However, its lush rose heart also makes it a beautiful choice for spring - the season most associated with blooming roses and fresh floral beauty.
