Affinessence Santal Basmati Perfume

Details and Care for Santal Basmati

Santal Basmati by Affinessence is a masterclass in understated luxury from the acclaimed Parisian niche fragrance house. Founded by Guillaume Flavigny, Affinessence built its reputation on crafting beautifully focused accords that celebrate one or two hero ingredients with rare depth and precision. Santal Basmati is a perfect expression of that philosophy - a warm, creamy, and utterly hypnotic fragrance that weaves together the milky warmth of basmati rice with the velvety richness of Indian sandalwood. It is at once comforting and sophisticated, the kind of scent that feels like a second skin from the very first spritz.

Wearing Santal Basmati perfume is like stepping into a sun-warmed kitchen where bowls of steamed basmati rice sit beside polished sandalwood panels - warm, nourishing, and deeply inviting. The opening is soft yet captivating, with a milky rice accord that feels both delicate and enveloping. As the fragrance develops, creamy Australian and Indian sandalwood rises to center stage, adding a woody smoothness that is impossible to resist. A base of musk and cashmeran locks the scent into the skin with a quiet, lasting sensuality. This unisex eau de parfum is ideal for those seeking a signature gourmand-woody scent that is refined, cozy, and utterly distinctive.
