Jo Malone first began creating signature scents when she was just a girl. As an adult, she worked as a beautician and florist and continued to design and create original scent combinations to give to her customers. After opening a London boutique to meet the demands for her oils, fragrances, and skincare products, Estee Lauder Companies acquired the successful business in 1999. Malone continued to create unique fragrances with Estee Lauder until 2006.
