Sheer Veil does not have sandlewood in it as one previous poster stated. Perhaps this one gets confused with the original Vera Wang. Sheer Veil is a light floral perfect for spring and summer - smells like a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers with violet and lavender being the most predominant to my nose. Light and floral. Perfect for a wedding.

this perfume is fairly pricey. although the bottle is so cute and nice and the color purple is attractive too...the smell is really overwhelming. it has a strong sandlewood mixed with flowers smell. it definately lasts a long time on clothes or on skin throughout the night but it is definately very strong.

I have always been drawn to the beautiful Vera Wang bottle from the original, but felt the fragrance itself was a little heavy and strong. It's softer and lighter, with champagne and lavendar rose tones. I'm a fan of gardenia also and there is a hint of it in this. Of course fragrance is a personal thing and will change on every person, but I would imagine few can go wrong with this.

Sheer Veil is a nice, light floral that is good for everyday use. I don't know the exact notes but I can't pick out any one type of flower...maybe violets? It's bright a fresh and doesn't get weighted down with extra sweetness like alot of florals out there. The bottle is pretty and the lavender color really does represent the scent well.
