Though born and raised in Tunisia, Loris Azzaro acquired a passion for everything French early in his life. Coupled with an interest in art and the Mediterranean lifestyle, Azzaro studied French literature prior to venturing into the world of fashion as an accessory and jewelry designer. In 1962 at the age of 29, Azzaro traveled to Paris to set up shop to sell his wares.
Within six years Azzaro, who came to be known as the embodiment of Mediterranean luxury, found a strong following with his glamorous and sensual fashions. His party dresses for the elite of French society were glamorous creations featuring ornate beading, layered rich and luxurious fabrics with daring cuts—all influenced by the exoticness of his childhood home. Azzaro’s sensational eveningwear of the 1970s and 1980s lost its shine in the minimalistic look of the 1990s wherein he turned his creative energy to the world of perfume.
Loris Azzaro introduced his first perfume in 1975. Entitled Azzaro, this highly successful fragrance would the base on which he introduced his other famous scents. Popular Loris Azzaro perfumes for women include the unique and sparkling Azzaro Duo, the captivating Azzaro Now, the unique florals of Twin and the elegant and classic Visit. Loris Azzaro colognes for men include the fresh and masculine woody scent of Acteur, the refreshing citruses of Azzaro Aqua, the classic Azzaro Pour Homme, the spicy and woody Bright Visit, the seductiveness of Onyx and the aromatic fragrances of the Chrome series.

Review of Chrome by Daxter 07 Sep 2012
One of the first things I noticed about this cologne is that it has a clean smell. It is very pleasant, not too strong, but strong enough to be noticed. If you are not big on wearing colognes, but may want to wear something that will get you noticed, or make an impression at that first interview, I would recommend Chrome. It reminded me of CK ONE, but not as cheap smelling. It is a scent that will last for the entire day, even if you can't smell it anymore, most people will. I have received many compliments wearing this cologne. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a scent that is not overpowering, not sweet, not musky, but clean smelling. Smells of fresh laundry. Yes.
Review of Chrome Legend by Daxter 20 Jun 2012
This cologne has a fresh and clean scent. It has a strong sweet start, but once the oil is absorbed into the skin, the scent is reminiscent of clean laundry or a spring day. It does not take much, so do not lather yourself in it. The sweet notes of the orange and tea come through, but not in an overbearing way. This cologne is settle, and I would recommend it for warm seasons only due to the casualness of the fragrance. Hence the "clean laundry, spring day smell". I get compliments regularly from people (mostly ladies). I would recommend this cologne to those who prefer a softer smell.
