Declared by Forbes in 2000 as the world’s most successful designer, Italian born Giorgio Armani is among the world’s fashion aristocrats. Working towards a future in medicine during his youth, Armani had a change of heart after serving in an infirmary during a stint in the army in 1953 at the age of 19. Following his military service Armani found work as a window dresser at a department store in Milan and within a few years went on to become a seller for their menswear department.
By the mid 1960s Armani had established himself as a designer for the house of Nino Cerutti as well as an independent for several other houses, but it was not until 1975 that he presented his first collections—a men’s followed by a women’s the same year. The Giorgio Armani brand expanded throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s with underwear, swimwear and accessories as well as the Emporio line which had a lower price point. With his inspiration coming from regular people he encounters daily, Armani has been able to keep his look fresh and relevant, thus maintaining a following among the celebrity class.

Simply the best scent out there. Devastatingly discontinued (Armani what were you thinking?) always get compliments from men and women - more than any other perfume, and I've tried so many. I just never tire of this gorgeous scent. The only chance of having this memorable scent reinstated is by the public emailing Armani I found out yesterday. I'm now panic buying as many as I can from Amazon.com

I love this perfume! I get so many comments on this perfume, People stop me all the time and ask what kind of perfume that I am wearing. I like it because the scent stays on me all day. Although I do like to touch up a little during the day, not that I have to but I just like the aroma when I first put it on. I know that the perfume agrees with me because any perfume that you wear and if you can't smell it on yourself then it smells good to everyone else. By far it's my favorite perfume!!
