She became the IT girl for wedding couture. Wang is an American fashion designer from New York City and former figure skater that became one of the best fashion stars in America and the world.
Growing up she aspired to be a figure skater and when she did not make the US Olympics team, she tried her hand at fashion.
The Vera Wang signature fashions—specializing in evening and wedding gowns—opened to celebrated fans in 1990 after the budding designer’s frustration with a failed search for her own wedding gown. After Vera’s success at wedding couture she ventures out into home design like her Vera Wang cookware and eventually into designing and creating her own Vera Wang fragrance line which have drawn great praise.
There is now Vera Wang perfume for women and Vera Wang cologne for men which include Look by Vera Wang, Vera Wang Bouquet, Sheer Veil, Truly Pink Love Struck by Vera Wang, and her Vera Wang Princess perfume line which includes Glam Princess, Flower Princess, Preppy Princess and Rock Princess which are more edgy and fun.
