Vétiver by Guerlain needs no introduction. The pinnacle of masculine elegance and a true classic since its introduction in 1961 by Guerlain family perfumer Jean Paul Guerlain, when he was himself a young man and was inspired by the gardener’s earthy, grassy smell after tending the gardens, it is a fragrance that will separate you as a man among boys. Fit for any occasion and any season, but especially refreshing in the warmer weather, Guerlain’s Vétiver starts with a crisp, citrusy accord that sustains itself for about 15 minutes, like ice crushed between jaws feels tingling the back of one's neck in the heat of August; it also recalls a hesperidic cologne with soft musks, fresh out from the fridge, sprayed on hot skin, creating goose bumps. The dominant essence, Haitian vetiver, is very complimentary to the lemony notes, rendering them ever so slightly soapy. The cascade of spicy, slightly bitter notes that bursts forth within minutes is delightfully refreshing and addictive. Vétiver is a comparatively light scent to be splashed all over, especially compared to mustier, earthier renditions of this exotic material, but it’s so artfully composed that it lasts very well. A truly beautiful creation.

Review of Vetiver by Dr M
I often prefer men's colognes because I find women's too sweet, and Guerlain's Vetiver has become my signature scent. It's fresh and woodsy, with the underlying warm notes that come from vetiver, and the scent stays on my skin all day without becoming cloying. Its mood is both natural and elegant. If you like fresh scents with some depth and complexity, try Vetiver. Highly recommended!

Review of Vetiver by Pl Carelli
I have been wearing this cologne for more than 20 years. It is largely my "summer scent." It's citrus notes are just the right scent after a shower on a hot summer day...It has one of the cleanest dry downs and I discovered vetiver and my chemistry work so well together. This scent made me not afraid to try men's colognes and now I look for scents with tobacco, cedar, vertiver...and florals. It doesn't get much better than this!

Review of Vetiver by Paco Kulaga
I had used Vetiver for a number of years, but for one reason or another, I changed colognes, maybe because it became difficult to find. When I checked your site, I was really happy to see it available, and at a really nice discount. The order came promptly, and it's made my wife even happier than I to have that wonderful Vetiver scent back again. It was like renewing an old friendship.

I discovered this scent about two years ago and have loved it ever since. I have gotten so many compliments since I started wearing it. It reacts very well with my skin and last all day. It is now one of my favorites.

Review of Vetiver by Lynn Collins
Powerful fragrance that is ellegant and sexy at the same time. Very old French fragrance used by many distinguished gentlemen. I sometime like to spray it on since I like mens fragrances more than womans.

Review of Vetiver by Nigel Prance
I have been using Vetiver for twenty five years. No matter where I travel -- Paris, Venice, Florence -- people recognize the scent. It is a classic and, as such, in a class of its own. One must keep in mind, however, that different eau de colognes interact in different ways with one's body chemistry. So, preferences are purely subjective.
