This cologne has been one of my favorites since it came out in 1996.I must say that I have purchased this cologne for friends of mine and men who I've dated. It reminds me of what every man should smell like suttle but masculine. Its intriging and leaves an impression that you will not forget.

I have been wearing Xeryus Rouge almost since its introduction date. It is my "signature scent". I was so disappointed when Givenchy stopped producing it and introduced a new scent line replacing the Xeryus line that I actually wrote them a letter to which they responded back to me in French, a language I am not fluent in. As many of the other reviews attest to, this scent is so unique and captivating that ex-girlfriends have said that when they are near me, it brings back all the wonderful memories of us together. Women I do not know at restaraunts and clubs stop just to compliment me and ask me what i am wearing. I actually hesitate to mention what it is, less too many other men start to wear it, especially not knowing how much is left to purchase. I simply tell them Xeryus, purposefully leaving the Rouge out, hoping that this scent will remain mine, because it is an amazing compilation of fragrance that stands out and will definitely have you stand out in a world where most men do not understand what a beautiful addition a great cologne can be to ones world. It is like a great fitting suit, it fills you with confidence the moment you put it on.

In my collection of about 35 colognes I could never say which one was my favorite until I got this one. It's so mouth watering good. Every time I wear it I hear people complimenting the smell. It's one that will not only get people to notice you but come back to you for another whiff and start a conversation.

Along with Arpege Pour Homme, Xeryus is the most intoxicating fragrance i've ever worn, of course, in a pleasant way. Applied carefully, it can be a daytime wear, and absolutely a thing a nice out. Walk by girls and let them intrigued, because it's very sexy. Once, when i were in the supermarket, i noticed a nice girl walking behind me most of the time. More amazingly, she followed me even when I changed the cashier aisle. Maybe because of XR, a masterpiece of Givenchy! You will have a lifetime customer, it's me!

Xeryus Rouge is the fragrance that i bought again and again( I have used it for 4 years) althought I have about 20 scents in my collection. Xeryus Rouge is the best cologne I have ever used. I used to buy a lot of colognes but haven't realized this is the best. The packaging is perfect, but what make its value is it's intoxicating smell. There no not enough words to describe Xeryus Rouge because it's not simply a cologne. Love it!

I recently just ordered another bottle of this from perfume.com. I absolutely love this cologne on my self and its not something most people have heard about but I truly have gotten so many compliments wearing this. Plus its not the same old cookie cutter brands of frangrance so its truly unique and its my secret weapon. Hope this helps

Ahhh...what a classic. Warm, inviting, soothing. Slighly oriental in nature with a powdery vanilla base. This is for a mature man confident enough to show his gentle side. I will always love this cologne and the fond memories it evokes of simpler times. Comforting like a well worn sweater on a cold winters day!
