Have you ever smelled Rhubarb Crisp, hot from the oven? This is that scent, bottled. Wonderfully rich, spicy-sweet and delicious, but a bit foody. My favorite of all Burberry's.

Delicious! You'll want to bite into this scent and swallow it... it's that juicy and lush! My ultimate favorite perfume ever. I have 3 bottles right now and will order another from Perfume.com very soon. Cannot be without this perfect "red" scent. The mandarin orange and deep red rose are gorgeous together... add rhubarb, jasmine and madagascar vanilla and you are in Burberry heaven. Whoever "the nose" is at Burberry, he or she is a pure genuis when it comes to combining fragrance notes. This is a class act from 1st spritz to amazing drydown. I love, love, love this perfume and you will too!!

This review os for Burberry Brit Red EDP. This is a nice oriental scent. It's lighter than many others of it's kind and therefore also suitable for warmer seasons. (Some heavy orientals are more suitable for colder temps.) On dry-down, I mostly smell red roses, some spices, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla bean. Long lasting....

I stumbled across Brit Red a few years ago and fell in love with it! But was so disappointed when Burberry discontinued it. I have been so pleased that Perfume.com has contiuned to make it available to those of us wanting a sensual and richly scented perfume for Real Women.

I was recently hunting for the perfect summer fragrance after wearing heavy frangrances all winter, when I stumbled across Michael Kors Island Capri. I was taken back by the beautiful aroma and was surprised to find that my daughter who is allergic to about everything I ever wear, was actually taking deep breaths of the smell. The sales person at the store had only sprayed a very small amount on my wrist and it actually lasted till the next morning before I showered. Its great to find a fragrance that lasts so I don't have to keep spraying during the day. And at work, everyone is always waiting to see what I wear next. It's a girl thing, but I did convert a few over to this delightful scent. Those who didn't, don't know what they are missing!!!!!

Phenomenal scent! This aroma draws you right in. At first, it's the rhubarb, very distinctive, and then, gingerbread and vanilla like you've never experienced before, with a sensational drydown that lasts and lasts. You'll keep wanting to take a sniff, it's that addictive. Like nothing else i've tried. Totally elegant and feminine. You will feel like such a classy lady when you have this on! A must!!

Brit Red is spicy, sweet and vanilla! It's my most favorite perfume of all, I love it and will always wear it year round!

I adore this scent...the spiciness of the gingerbread combines nicely with the sweetness of the rhubarb and underlying vanilla - without smelling too food-y. My favourite scent for cold winter days and to get me in the holiday spirit and subtle enough for daywear, but interesting enough for those casual holiday get-togethers too :) I hope it is a special edition that stays around for a long time!

Review of Brit Red by Suzanne Barber

This scent is wonderfully alluring and sexy. I have received many a comment on it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the original Burberry Brit. It is a nice change, a little stronger and suited nicely for a winter scent.

Review of Brit Red by Smells Wonderful

Delicious! Burberry Red is one of those "food" fragrances that smells like gingerbread and vanilla, but is not overpowering or too sweet. This scent immediately caught me on the first spray. It is a warm scent definitely suited for colder weather, is versatile and can be worn easily during the day, but also at night or on special occasions. My downfall with this scent, and the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, is that this scent could be irritating the sensitive skin. When sprayed directly on my neck my skin becomes itchy and red, but anywhere else - arms, over the head - causes no reaction. I was told by the woman at the department store where I purchased it that the scent has hints of pepper, and maybe that's why.

This is definitely a fall or winter scent to my nose - I get a whiff of gingerbread and warmth that the original version lacks, and in turn this one does not have any of the green notes of original Brit. I do like this one a lot and find it's a good 'comfort scent," but I think I still prefer original Brit because it's a bit more seasonless and classic.

Review of Brit Red by Merri Jill

This is a warm, comforting scent that is great for winter. I think the intial spray is a little too strong and gingerbread-y, but after a few minutes it becomes a very nice melange of gingerbread, citrus, floral, and vanilla. I'm not sure this could work for everyone, but is definitley good for someone who's looking for something a little different from the ordinary. I like this version better than the regular Brit, which is "nice" but not very interesting to me.

I love this one. It's got a spicy gingerbread base, but there a tart rhubarb topnote that you can smell all the way through the drydown, and the tartness of the rhubarb provides such an interesting and beautiful contrast to the warm, heavy, sweetness in the base. Very pretty. I also love the bottle, it looks great on my vanity.
