The screen is black. Fade-in to a woman putting scent on her pulse points at her boudoir, looking at herself on her old-fashioned big mirror, wondering what kind of woman dares wear something with vanilla, incense and Tonka bean in the daytime. The scene changes with our heroine prancing into the living room where her husband reads the paper utterly bored. As she enters the room, he looks up sharply his nostrils quivering. “What is this smell? It smells like another woman...” “But in a good way!”, he hastily adds, half embarrassed, half candid. “Goodness had nothing to do with it”, she quips under her heavy eyelids, the scene fading out, challenging the two into an upcoming battle of the sexes, the horizontal kind... Tom Ford knows how to wreck havoc with our desires. Black Orchid, his first, iconic scent for women(2006) in a black ribbed bottle out of a retro film noir is all that and more! The fragrance features top notes of blackcurrant and French jasmine, the earthy touch of black truffle, ylang-ylang, and the tonic trio of bergamot, mandarin and citrus for freshness. The heart is based on the rare "Tom Ford black orchid", spicy floral orchid accords and lotus wood. The dry-down includes mysterious notes of patchouli, incense, vetiver, amber, sandalwood, and vanilla tears. Delish!

I love Tom Ford Black Orchid Perfume for Women by Tom Ford!!! I have had so many complents on it. When my friend gave me a sample vial of it, it had me at first sniff. I wore it to my job at a family dollar store, and I had females as well as males tell me how lovely I smelled. One women even told me "I can't stand the smells of a lot of perfumes, but what your are wearing is soft and very beautiful, what is it?" Oh and my husband LOVES IT !!!! If you know what I mean.

I recived a sample vile of Black Orchid from my friend. I work at a family dollar store and decided to wear it. I had sooooo many coustmers tell me how nice I smelled, I even had a woman ask me " what are you wearing, I have a hard time with perfume's, but that is soft and very enjoyable to the sences,it's beautiful" I told her what it was and now we both would love to find out where to buy it. My husband loves it as well ( if you get what I mean) I want more .

I soooo wanted to like this perfume. I read review after review for weeks. It sounded like the perfume Ive always been looking for despite any negative reviews...well finally i made that trip to sephora so I could find out for myself. I walked around the store wearing it for approximately 45 minutes praying that amazing smell to come thru. It never happened. Was disgusting from start to finish. I guess that perfect perfume is still in the future for me. Until then Im gonna have to settle for dior addict, creed santal, angel, lolita lempicka,212 sexy, coco madamosille diesal for life and flowerbomb do. I want my signature!!!!

I am sadly disappointed with this fragrance, it smells too smoky for me, it gives me a headache. I read the reviews before I ordered this, it goes to show to personally have a sniff of it before buying. I will be giving it away. It's not worth what I paid for it. CHOLLY OLYMPIA, WA.

I had previously been a Chanel No 5 faithful, but I was introduced to this perfume at London Heathrow. What can I say, it was love at first sniff. It is an intense, sensual, alluring, yet subtle scent. It is the kind of fragrance that blends well with the skin, producing an effect that will keep heads turning. I love it everything about it. It is worth every dime.
