Developed in 1990, Eau du Soir by Sisley is full of rich contrasts — the essence develops subtly, enhancing femininity and charm by releasing the perfect balance of fresh citrus top notes and sensual floral chypre notes over a deep base of amber and musk. The result is reminiscent of the oriental gardens of Spain in summer. The bottle’s sculptural stopper, created by contemporary artist Bronislaw Krzysztof, is plated with 18-karat yellow gold.
Notes Top Note: Mandarin Orange, Grapefruit, Spruce, Carnation Middle Note: Seringo, Jasmine, Rose, Lily-Of-The-Valley Base Note: Musk, Amber, Patchouli

Review of Eau du Soir by Suzanne Jenne
This beautiful fragrance captivated me the first time I smelled it-in Paris at a department store, 8 years ago! Of course, I bought it.. at a very dear price. Then found it in the states at Neiman Marcus... at significantly more than I now pay for it at Perfume.com. It is a rich, exotic scent that has layers of fragrance with sandalwood as it's lasting signature. It is elegant but also, earthy and sensual. People love it! Everywhere I go, I get many complements and especially from men. Its become MY signature fragrance... I wear it every day...and when I run out, it's back to Perfume.com!

Review of Eau du Soir by Quincy June
A classic chypre, Eau de Soir walks the tight line between crushing elegance and beguiling femininity. I first smelled it not in the bottle, but on the skin on a friend of mine, and was immediately compelled to find out what she was wearing. It's clean-smelling but not soapy, intense but not overly heady, and soft but with great sillage. A beautiful classic.

Review of Eau du Soir by A. Woolsey
This is a fairly straightforward green chypre from luxe cosmetics house Sisley. It begins with tart citrus and green notes before opening onto soft, faint white florals. The base is your typical mossy-woody chypre base with a touch of amber. But, for the astronomical price Sisley charges for Eau du Soir, this is not a particularly innovation scent. I’d take the sparkle of Rive Gauche, the texture of No. 19, or the creaminess of Ivoire de Balmain over this rather humdrum fragrance anyday. This is also more of a daytime chypre than an evening scent, contrary to what its name (“Evening Water”) suggests.

Review of Eau du Soir by Ra Ornan
Wanna smell green as in green like money? Well slip this number on. Gorgeous, one of my favorite green traditional type chypres along with Y by YSL. They both have an air of velvet about them, not sharp to my nose. Other chypres I like are Noir Epices, Quartz, and Madame Rochas. I think you'd like this too if you like the above. However, Eau De Soir smells a lot more rich and expensive even decadent than those others. A ravishing anytime fragrance. Makes me want to daydream.
