Named after a Catalan village in Spain where the sea and the sun seem in eternal combat for one’s attentions, this fragrance by Salvador Dali is the very essence of a summer “solar” scent. Long before Jean Paul Gaultier launched the fluorescent fruity floral Ma Dame parfums Salvador Dali had the revolutionary instincts to launch Sea and Sun in Cadaques in 1996 on the same principle but more subdued. A woody floral with refreshing fruity notes, starring the unusual kumquat (a small citrus fruit cultivated in the Ionian and Adriatic seas in the Mediterranean basin) and the softness of apricot. Later accents of blackcurrant with their challenging whiff of tangy notes emerge while aqueous flowers such as lotus and water lilies take the theme an octave lower. Finally the woody base of musk and light amber melts into the skin, enhancing its inherent sensuality and natural smell. More than a vacation in a bottle, a joyful journey to the heart of Catalonia, Spain.
Notes freesia, apricot, musk, blackcurrant, kumquat

Review of Sea and Sun in Cadaques by Victoria
Sea and Sun in Cadaques Perfume for Women by Salvador Dali is amazing. i went to the dali museum and smelled it last year and decided not to get it, thinking i might want a "name" brand. Well needless to say i never found a good one worth getting and i yearned for this one I didn’t get. Well needless to say i went back to st pete in florida and totally got it and am so happy i did. It’s sweet but not syrupy it’s clean and fresh. my friend smelled it on me and freaked with delight, she went home that night and ordered it. It’s a classy smell a balance of feminine without being overly girly. You gotta smell it to believe me. Here’s my analogy, other sweet perfumes are like a syrupy sweet martini that will give you a stomach ache after 1, this perfume is a exotic fruit infused vodka tonic, light effervescent and intoxicating!
