Energetic, alive, invigorating
Marc Ecko is on the leading fashion designers for urban youth in America and now he has put out his own signature fragrance for men call Ecko by Marc Ecko.
Launched in October 2009 and created by perfumers Vincent Kuczinski and Lois Evans, from Ungerer & Co Company, in cooperation with Marc himself.
When asked about his venture into men’s cologne Ecko says
“I wanted it to be like a stimulant — almost caffeinated. I wanted it to be clean and bright, but something that wasn’t so clean and soapy that it wasn’t sexy. And it was important to me that it has a semi-unisex vibe. It was always my aspiration to get a scent that was highly wearable. I wanted it to be like a stimulant — almost caffeinated. I wanted it to be clean and bright, but something that wasn’t so clean and soapy that it wasn’t sexy. And it was important to me that it have a semi-unisex vibe.”
Marc Ecko has created a great new cologne for men that mixes urban street culture into his masculine fragrance that is not over powering but gentle to the senses.
This cologne maintains Ecko’s street cred while still being able to put out a fragrance that is hip and sophisticated at the same time.

Review of Ecko by Mr Singh
Bought this in the winter of 2009 when it was first released. I've been a fan of Ecko clothing so I gave the cologne a try. I really liked it, a lot of fresh colognes are fruity in a bad way...like Diddy's "I am King," which is choking in how fruity and sweet it is. This, however, remains fruity but with a twist...It has a predominant grapefruit scent in it so the fruit scent isn't overbearingly sweet. It has a bit of 'tang' to offset it. It also remains light and clean, thus masculine, and is perfect for summer months. It's longevity is about 3-5hrs. Even though it fades sooner than other fragrances, it's still definitely a success on Marc Ecko's part...especially considering he's a clothing designer and this was his first fragrance release. I wonder how his female fragrance would turn out if he were to release one...
