Review of Roma by Kandy Mc Nicholas
I can't tell you how much I love Roma. I have been wearing it since it came out in 1988. When it was discontinued, I was heartbroken. However, now that I found it again, I'm delighted. I receive compliments every time I wear it. In fact one of my co-workers requested a bottle as a Christmas gift since she loves the fragrance on me. Thank you Perfume.com

Review of Roma by Tara Lanning
Roma is delightful, and it is a shame it has been discontinued. I usually do not like floral fragrances, but this one has enough complexity that I really enjoy it. It starts with the bracing freshness of grapefruit, like sunshine in a bottle. Then it becomes more vanilla-y on drydown, with a hint of powder - another note I usually hate, but it really works here. It's fresh and ethereal, and yet sexy and womanly all at the same time. Highly recommend.

Review of Roma by Free Gracer
Roma opens with a bracing shot of grapefruit, Sicilian bergamot, black currant bud and mint. As it develops on the skin, Roma goes through a classical drydown. The middle notes consist of rose, jasmine, lily of the valley and carnation. There is a balsamic blend that hovers in the background, adding a subtle complexity to this scent. According to Laura Biagiotti, this balsamic blend, which contains North African myrrh, Siamese ambergris and vanilla, is similar to a mixture used by ancient Roman women. Further base notes consist of civet, Singapore patchouli and Yugoslavian oakmoss. When I wear Roma, I really can imagine I'm wending my way to the Colosseum all lit up at night, or feeling the coolness of the Pantheon's interior on a warm spring day. Roma reflects the invigorating excitement and opulence of the eternally ancient city whose name it shares. Brava, Ms Biagiotti!
