A Beautiful Aromance

In 1998, I traveled to Nassau, Bahamas, on a girls' trip and wandered into a perfume shop downtown. As I sampled fragrances at the counter, I discovered L'eau D'Issey for the very first time. Before I tried it, the sales representative offered me a handful of ground coffee beans to reset my senses so I could take in the fragrance fully. The instant I breathed it in, I knew I had found something extraordinary. The scent was fresh and weightless, with a soft floral elegance that felt clean, graceful, and unforgettable without ever being too strong. From that moment to this day, it has drawn endless compliments, especially from my husband. A few sprays in the morning, paired with the L'eau D'Issey body lotion, leaves me feeling beautifully scented from morning until night. As we grow older, our body chemistry changes, and perfumes that once seemed perfect can begin to lose their magic. That has happened to me with other fragrances, but never with L'eau D'Issey. It was captivating the first day I wore it, and somehow it has become even more beautiful with time. Nearly 30 years later, it is still my signature fragrance.

Fresh, Clean & Simply Beautiful – My Go-To Perfume

I've worn this beautiful perfume for around 10 years now and it's still the one I reach for the most. It's fresh, clean and elegant without ever being overpowering. I'll never forget the first time I smelled this perfume

20 years ago my family hosted a foreign exchange student from Japan for a year. I'll never forget the first time she left our bathroom after showering the scent of this perfume lingered in the air. It smelled so beautiful, confident, mesmerizing. When she went home she gifted me the rest of her bottle and I received so many compliments. Even after all this time it still smells just as intoxicating as the first time I smelled it.

I have always purchased eau de parfum, it will always last longer and I never have to pack tons on. I've worn this fragrance since 90's, yes Im old, but its a classic. Ive never, ever been disappointed and had women ask me, "what are you wearing?". Its everything we want and more and thank goodness it doesnt have any of the boring and predictable notes, like VANILLA or MARSHMALLOW. Every perfume from this era is so sweet I can see the flies follow me. The perfect fragrance from someone that knows that not everything has to smell sweet!

I have been buying this since the 1980's. My husband purchased it for me in Tokyo. I absolutely love it. This time I ordered the Perfume. The perfume was clear and had absolutely no scent. I am very disappointed! Today I ordered another bottle, but I ordered the Toilette. I am hoping the other was just a huge mistake on your part. I will continue to order from you. Your prices are excellent. I would appreciate if you sent me a different bottle of the perfume.

Sweet Scent

This was one of the perfumes that once I had smelt it on someone I had to go and get it. It grabs your attention instantly and is so so memorable. If you wear it prepare to be the person that people will think of everytine they smell it from there on out. Every person comments how great it smells. I do like this perfume but, probably not again and again.

At times I think i has lost it's strength? (Can't really smell it) I am glad that I didn't put any more on because all of a sudden, I can smell it again. Kind of illusive.

I would not by the fragrance again.

I thought I would like it based on prior reviews, but it wasn't me at all. I lean towards light colored/ clear perfumes which tend to be either citrus or fresh. But didn't get that from this fragrance.
