What can be classier than a coveted item from Hermès, the luxury house that started as saddlers in 1837? Much like its equestrian goods and classic silks, its fragrances have a timeless appeal which transcends time. 24 Faubourg was created to commemorate the address of Hermes flagship store in Paris and is evocative of the refined, plush silkiness of their iconic scarves.
The beautiful melody of smooth, lush, honeyed orange blossom (coupled with jasmine Sambac and exotic ylang-ylang) wrapped in warm amber is reminiscent of the insides of an expensive Hermès handbag in which golden-toned weapons of femininity are hiding. The finishing off on notes of sandalwood, vanilla and a hint of patchouli ensure a lasting experience of undoubted luxury.

I wear this perfume every day and perfect strangers will come up and remark how nice I smell. I was in a parking lot one summer day and someone asked what perfume I was wearing. It is perfect for me, and I couldn't start my day without it. I wore Caleche for many years also and although they are cousins, this is more attuned for everyday wear. I love that it is not a well known fragrance and I can call it my own.

I absolutely adore this perfume. I have enjoyed it for many years, on and off, because of course I have experimented with other perfumes; but I received some from my son this Christmas and everyone commented on how nostalgic it is! I will certainly make it my favourite from now on. I also like Opium, so you can see a connection between the two.I would not describe it as floral, more spicy and sexy.

I have been wearing this perfume several years. I lucked up on it browsing at Neiman Marcus cosmetic counter. At first I would not reveal what I was wearing when asked, but now I am sharing it by giving it as gifts to special friends that I know would appreciate a wonderful scented perfume, thanks to Perfume.com. I get so many compliments from those I know and strangers. one concern I have is that I cannot buy EDP in 3.4 0Z. any more. Does anyone know why?

The reason why I give it less stars is because my husband does not like this perfume. I like it, but he says I smell like my mother! It is NOT floral, it's spicy, woody, and nice. I like it myself, but to each its own. I prefer Hermes because of the natural ingredients used in their perfumes; quality, quality.

I discovered this fragrance in the Prague airport between planes. I was instantly drawn to the shape of the bottle, the delicate etching and the scent seemed like an afterthought... until I had friends (and strangers) ask me what I was wearing. It is my favorite and only scent. I want to go to my grave wearing 24 Faubourg perfume.

I purchased this fragrance several years ago as a gift to my daughter. She loved it then and loves it to this day. She has received many other fragrance gifts from other people, which she says are okay, but this is definitely her favorite. She tells me it lasts all day, gets so many compliments from other men it makes her husband a little jealous, and that a whole year later it smells just as fresh as it did the day she received it. She has already called me this year bemoaning the fact that she has savored and savored it and now the last drop is gone, and would I please get her some more for this year's birthday. Of course I did!!!
