Vanderbilt perfume, by the design house of Gloria Vanderbilt, is a classic floriental scent with both fresh and elegant essences. Lemon and orange blossom harmonize with palmarosa and ylang-ylang, while spices like coriander, pepper, allspice pimento, and nutmeg fuse with warm woods, vetiver and vanilla. Launched in 1982.

I have use Vanderbilt Perfume for Women by Gloria Vanderbilt for years. I love the light fragrance and use the body wash and body spray in addition to the perfume. This is the ONLY fragrance that I use and now permeates my clothing and coats so that items needing dry cleaning or are worn frequesntly do not end up with a "mixture" of scents. Although it lasts all day, it does NOT have an overpowering scent that can be offensive to some people. I am a nurse and my patients enjoy it too - again without knocking them out of their socks!I have multiple allergies - this is the only one that does not trigger reactions. I receive frequent compliments and people ask me what it is. My husband associates this fragrance as "my scent". I think I have used it since it first came out - probably going on 25 years. I would strongly reccommend this for anyone looking for a light, pleasant fragrance.
