Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is an outstanding fragrance from the extensive Armani range, certainly my favourite. At these prices you really cannot go wrong. The Aftershave was purchased for me as a gift by my girlfriend as I had run out and Purfume.com was recommended by a friend. I would have no hesitation in recommending them as the service was extremely quick and proffesional from start to finish.

Acqua di Gio Cologne for Men by Giorgio Armani is my all time favorite perfume....although I don't like the price of it because it is really expensive, but in speaking of the scent, it is one of the best.....I also recommend my other favorite, Michael Kors...it is a sweet scent with style and it is not that expensive...but the availability is always the problem...specially here in my country. But anyway, thank goodness that there is Aqua di Gio here....perfume doesn't depend on one person's nose alone...it depends on the person who will smell it and likes it...

Acqua di Gio Cologne for Men by Giorgio Armani is a great cologne. The scent is great all year long no matter what season. I have been buying cologne's for quite sometime now and I always get compliments when I wear Aqua di gio. You know how sometimes you may wear a cologne and you get mixed feelings/ comments from others on the cologne, well the comments on this cologne have always been positive. I have tried to keep this cologne a secret from my frat brothers and friends, only to keep it a secret from them so that I can be the best smelling at all the social events. lol!!! I would recommend this cologne to anyone.

Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is a great everyday cologne, it great for on the job. Every time I wear this cologne I get compliments, but my favorite is Code. This cologne is great to alternate with Code. Use Gio in the day time and Code at night, thats my killer combination. I used to work at a depatment store and women would just come to my department to smell my cologne. This cologne could cost you your relationship.

When bought Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani for my now ex-boyfriend he thought I was buying him something cheesy like axe or some crap like brut(LOL). When he opened it for the first time and sprayed it .....he looked at me and just kissed me and said "Damn I hope you are ready to fight off all the nookie thats gonna get thrown at me." He was for real beacuse the next day he went to the mall and a lady sniffed him then came back to him and gave him her number!!(he gave it to me of course). When we broke up the first thing I wanted was the cologne.......I wasnt about to >help< him replace me with this delicious fragrance. LOL

I love Acqua di Gio Cologne for Men by Giorgio Armani. My best friend wears it and it is literally the best smelling cologne. He takes a shower at night and sprays it on in the mornings before going out and by the evening he still smells great. It's very light and refreshing. It doesn't smell like soap or like he just stepped out of the shower. And it's not musky like he's just been deer hunting or something. It's not a sweet smell either though, like he's been romping in a candy store. Again it's real refreshing and intriguing. If you've ever been into American Eagle and smelt their "Real" cologne I will admit that it smells like that. Honestly, I bought Real thinking that was what he wore but once I sprayed it I realized they were much different; they do smell similar while in the bottle. The one day that he decided to wear something else, I pointed it out because it automatically smelled different and we both agreed that Glo was much better than whatever he wore that day! Even though I'm around him a lot, every day I still am telling him how great he smells! One day I was washing his jacket for him and I almost didn't want to wash it because even though it was dirty, it still smelt like this wonderful cologne! Usually I could care less about colognes because they usually smell cheap and strong like you're trying to hard but not this one, not at all. I know two guys who where this cologne. Both are between the ages of 17 and 21 so I think it is obvious that it is targeted to a younger generation. It lingers for awhile that's for sure. If you walk into either one of their bedrooms or through the room that they've previously walked through you can still smell this settle scent. They both wear it to school, work, out at night, whenever! AH it's just amazing! BUY IT please!

WOW is the first word that comes to my mind when I think of Acqua di Gio Cologne for Men by Giorgio Armani. I am an avid user of CK and Hugo which have remained my fave's since the time I can think of. But it only changed with Acqua Di Gio. Now i cant think of any other fragnance that can match Acqua Di Gio. Its really funny how i came across Acqua Di Gio. I was coming out of Myer Centre in Brisbane, Aust. and a woman in her mid 30's passed by. I couldnt help but notice the whiff of fresh air that she left behind. Though I thought she being a woman would obviously use the womens line of fragnances and it wouldnt be of any use to me being a guy. I dont know what struck me but i raced to her and told her "You smell so good, which perfume are you using? Maybe I could buy it for my gf". She looked at me and said "Why your gf, you can buy this for yourself coz what I am using is my husband's Acqua Di Gio coz I think its the best thing that I have ever smelled" she winked at me and left. Immediately I went inside Myer Center and got Acqua Di Gio. So since that day till today Acqua Di Gio has been the smell that defines me. regards, Sanketh.

I love this scent! I know it's been around forever .. not sure why I didn't try it earlier! My DH loves it, too. It smells so masculin yet fresh and not too heavy at all! Definitely leans toward summer scents, I would say. The bottle is frosted glass & so simple. The notes: Marine Notes, Mandarin, Bergamot, Neroli, Persimmon, Rosemary, Nasturtium, Jasmine, Amber, Patchouli, Cistus. Definitely a keeper for my hubby!!

This cologne smells great, probably one of the best because its so appealing to the nose. The price is certainly affordable too, not expensive like some of the other designer colognes. I think the whole gift set is closer to 80 dollars. My only qualm is the high price but then again, depending on usage, it should last you awhile.

On the downside I think that it's a staple in 70% of guy's medicine cabinets so you become one of the crowd with it. Very nice cologne. Bought my first bottle back then in Belgium in 1996 when i was 16. 10 years later, I still love this cologne. It is sort of light, fruity, and the ladies just love it. Perfect for the summer days since it is not too strong. The only bad point about Aqua Di Gio is that more and more people have it. If you want to be original, then this is a no go. In the same line, L'eau D'issey of Issey Miakey is pretty similar, jut a bit more musky.

Very good for summer. It definitely can be a bit overwhleming if you go crazy with the application, but if it is used sparingly, it smells wonderful. Ah yes, Acqua Di Gio, the influential fragrance that changed the market of fragrances. This fragrance helped make the citrus/clean/fresh/aquatic fragrances the popular genre for youth today. That being said, this fragrance is immensely popular. Walking around, every day, no matter the weather, the place, or the season, I can always smell someone wearing this fragrance. Acqua Di Gio is aquatic and has some citrus melons that seem to attract the male youths to wear and the female youths to like. I personally like to be different then the pack, and do not see myself wearing this fragrance, but it is a nicely made fragrance that has good longevity and smells alright. Be prepared to smell like everyone else, but it is successful for a reason.

A fine example of how fickle or intimate (I prefer the word intimate) scent is to each of us. This is one fragrance that I have not gotten to like. Received as a gift more than a year ago, the bottle still has three-quarters. It does have a `rich' scent but I find it to be too confusing and indescribable a scent, not educing a one word description like `sporty', `sexy', `alluring'. I don't wear it very often but I don't recall a single occasion of `what fragrance are you wearing?' with this one. It's just not my cup of tea so definitely, if you're not familiar with this scent beforehand; do not buy before trying it out at a department store for a day. Why Buy? As a gift for the guy competing for the female that is currently in your crosshairs. As a gift for your boss - you will know he's coming from a mile away. You need a gift for a guy who couldn't pour water out of a boot even if there were instructions on the heel though the biggest problem is it is also the most popular. Every guy has it. So if you want to smell like every other guy go ahead and get it. If you want a unique scent that you want women to only think of you when they smell it, get something else. I remember when I wore it I couldn't help but think of other guys I had smelt it on. Not something I like to be doing. Its popularity is the only reason preventing it from getting a full five stars.

I have been in love with this perfume for years. It is definitely more of a Spring/Summer scent so I look forward to those seasons every year. It is floral but not overbearing, yet it stays on for a really long time! There is a slight musk to it but it's a good one, not overpowering. A very pretty, light, crisp, citrusy fresh scent. Light Blue reminds me of a fresh Spring rain with a hint of iced lemonade and the faint smell of denim. It's perfect for Spring and Summer, and a great scent for daily wear. It's one of those scent that makes feel happy and refreshed every time I wear it, and when it comes to "Clean" scents, this is by far my favorite!

The scent is slightly musky but not off putting and is strong enough that it attracts interest from my female friends, but not so strong to be overpowering. Fresh lemon scent! This is one of my “regulars” that I use a few times a week. It’s great for that in-between spray to get you through the day. The smell is a little lemon, but cool at the same time. This is the best cologne that my husband owns in his collection. The beautful fragrance is remarkably refreshing and very clean smelling. I use this cologne all the time. First off the bottle is cool, has this ceramic feel to it. The scent of the cologne is great, you can smell some sort of fruit scent in here (smells like watermelon). Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is possibly one of the best smelling colognes out there. Although I have not purchased it before for myself, my roomate has this cologne. He has let me use it on several occasions. Not only does it smell good once you spray it on, it smells good for at least four hours. The couple times I have used it, it lasted for upwards of eight hours. The packaging is relatively simple, but I'm a simple guy. Besides, the package doesn't make you smell any better anyway. The reason one buys cologne is to smell good, not for their bottle of cologne to look good. I find it annoying when people care more about how the bottle looks as opposed to how the cologne smells.

I was in the market for a new exotic cologne, and I searched high and low for one that's refreshing, not too spicy, and not too musky. The one that caught my attention was Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani. Acqua di Gio's scent is classified as aquatic with "citrus notes, rosemary spiciness, jasmine, hint of wood and ocean breezes", and that sounds pretty exotic to me. What's even better is the fact that not a whole lot of guys wear this (at least no one that I've encountered did), and the ladies love it, so you're sure to stand out. Two sprays in the morning should last you throughout the day. If you go to clubs at night, you should reapply. I really don't care much about a cologne's physical appearance, but I know some guys go for the cologne in elegant packaging. If this is you, then Acqua di Gio definitely earns the points here. It comes in a sandblasted (hazy) bottle inside two nice looking outer boxes. The spray nozzle applies a fair amount each time, and it works very well in this regard. There is also a complementary cap that goes on top of the nozzle. Overall, it gives a tasteful presence to any cabinet. Acqua di Gio's only downside is its price tag, the 3.4 oz bottle that I got cost around $60. But it is by Armani after all, so you pay for more than just its quality, but the name tag as well. If you're looking for a unique and attractive scent like me, and have the means to afford it, then this is the cologne for you!

The only thing wrong with this cologne is everyone owns it. There is a reason for this. It is the "freshest" smelling cologne out there. Starts out with a strong watermelon/citrus like scent then dies down to a clean base which lasts for about half a day. Fairly long lasting for a long scent. It reminds me of watermelon (or melon) with a touch of floral and a dab of pepper - which I noticed gives a slight sour note if too much of the cologne is applied. When applied lightly is gives a gentle fruity and floral scent with a touch of spice that I think is perfect for a summer day or casual use. I used to wear this scent, probably nearly 10 years ago now. I have to say that there is nothing really "wrong" with this fragrance per se. The problem that I have with it is due to its popularity. I find that nearly everyone owns and wears this scent. That's a problem if you like your fragrance to help you stand out in a crowd. Acqua di Gio will not do that for you. What it will do is help you to smell manly, fresh, clean, vibrant, and citrusy. It has a fruity middle that also makes it sweet and approachable. Its success has spawned numeous copies and an entire style that could be called the Acqua di Gio style. Nothing wrong with that, but you won't stand out wearing this one. But it is pleasant and won't offend.

This is a scent I just don't get. This scent is incredibly popular with the college crowd, and being a student at a large university, I smell AdG everywhere. The "fresh" note of this fragrance is overly-synthetic and grating to my nose. Underneath that fresh note is a pretty good accord that would smell alright on its own, but it's hard to notice because that fresh note just won't go away. I tried hard to like this one, but it's just not for me. Even so, I'd rather go with another fragrance and smell unique than to blend in will all the other AdG wearers. And something everyone should know: "Acqua di Gio" is an Italian name, so don't pronounce the 'G' in the name as a hard 'G;" it's closer to 'Zho' than anything else.
