  This is a "classique" scent....when I want to return to memories of the early 70's I put this on (holds a lot of great memories.) I receive many compliments & the price is "unreal." This is very feminine & not intrusive, however, it definitely leaves your date w/good fragrance thoughts......scent does last & it's soft. You can wear this 24-7. I have purchased "5" gift packages for X.mas. I don't know any female that doesn't/wont love receiving this for a gift. It's an "oldie but goodie." Suzanne Madrid

• Review of Norell by Grace Anderson

  There's a reason this fragrance has remained when so many others are "in" one year and "out" the next. It is timeless, and as others have said, there's something about it that provokes compliments and questions every day you wear it, especially from men. Despite the product description of "floral", I wouldn't describe it that way. You won't smell like a bouquet of flowers. To me it's a "sophisticated, classy" fragrance that isn't heavy (if you just spray a cloud and walk thru it) but stays with you throughout the day. It's suitable for women of all ages. I've tried others over the years, but keep coming back to the uniqueness of Norell.

  I have actually had perfume counter sales clerks chase me down an aisle to find out what kind of perfume was I was wearing. I've been standing in an elevator with a group of strangers and had men say "God, you smell wonnnnnderful". When I am out of town my husband sleeps with my pillow so he can smell me. It's men, usually, who love this scent. It's sexy and clean and warm and cool, and absolutely heavenly.

  Spicy yet sweet. A lovely vintagey full bodied scent that is a steal at the price. This neglected scent deserves to be rediscovered and loved by a new generation of women.
