Review of Ungaro III by Chris Zegel
I had recently heard about ungaro lii from a friend and had expected it to be something completly different. While it was a clean smelling fragrance, I was underwhelmed by the overall smell and felt it was almost a bit generic. Could be good for some uses but not my personal taste.

Review of Ungaro III by Jeff Ensley
Ungaro III is a very smooth, sensual and sexy scent that has a potpourri feel to it. There is a definate scent of roses that gives it a sweet, floral quality...but not too sweet. It's still a very dark scent with a slightly spicy, dry wood base. It works well at night, especially in romantic encounters. Very classy and rich smelling...not too heavy, but certainly not too light. The box sums up the scent...deep red with a moody black base.

Review of Ungaro III by Scent Hound
Very rich and sophisticated, with a hint of dried fruits and rose blending into dark woods and spices. Smells modern and timeless, one of Jacques Polge's (Chanel's in-house parfumeur) finest, masterfully blended and mellifluous. Perfect for a romantic night on the town with that special someone.

Review of Ungaro III by Robert Uli
ungaro III is a popular and well-worn scent, and for good reason. It is highly attractive, easy-to-wear, and not at all unpleasant. Many famous or classic scents are famous or classic because they have some unique, quirky, or controversial components or style that causes a stir. Ungaro III is rather a high quality, good smelling men's scent. It has a slight rose note to it, but I do not think it would be classified as a rose-based scent. It is relatively dry, somewhat sharp and spicy, as well as slightly "green" and "fresh." Many say this is a dark fragrance, but on me, it is anything but. It is almost bright and refreshing. Overall, it is very well done and easy to wear, as well as versatile - good for just about any occasion in any weather condition.
