Provocative Perfume for Women by Elizabeth Arden is a lovely perfume! Contrary to the mixed reviews on here, it is neither too heavy, too old smelling, too "maple syrup" smelling, or whatever. When it is first sprayed on there is a slightly heavy smell which I found a bit startling at first and I couldn't recognize what note it was, but that quickly gives way to a delicious, soft, slightly fruity, sexy smell which I love. This perfume is also very long-lasting and one spray can last me an entire day and evening, so it's great value for money too! I HIGHLY recommend this scent.

A friend bought me my first bottle of Provocative for my birthday 3 years ago. I think that it is one of the best smelling perfumes ever. My 14 year old daughter uses it as much as I do. Now when I buy it I have to buy two bottles, or my daughter takes it and uses most of it.

don't like this at all! Doesn't really smell like anything light flower-ish water maybe? I just don't like it! and the bottle is too huge and clunky I am surprised it isn't discontinued do people actually buy this?

Wonderful fragrance. I recently went to the mall in Alexandria, LA and was given a sample of this. It is truly great. My experience with perfume.com has been just awesome. I have ordered quite a few times and have never been disappointed in any item I have received. The turn around time is quick also. I probably will never but fragrances anywhere else. I go and test them in the stores and then return home to order from perfume.com.

This perfume, provactive , was just too strong for me. when I first smelled it I thought some one was cooking and using maple syrup that is what the scent reminded me of.

I dont care for the smell of Provacative Perfume, to me it reminds me of maple syrup. my sister-in-law had it on and I was wondering who was using maple syrup. maybe it was just her chemistry that was causing that effect tho. when wearing perfume you dont want someone across the room asking "hey what perfume are you wearing" and this perfume for me was like that.

This is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite during-the-weekday perfumes. It's strong enough to last the whole day...but not too heavy that it would seem only appropriate for a dinner date. It's sweet without being too girly - and sedate enough to wear to work. If you're looking for something that is the epitome of a young female/professional - this is it. I can't stop smelling my own wrist when it's on - it's just that addictive!!

Great! I was given a sample bottle as a stocking stuffer at Christmas. Hint--don't spray directly on your skin--spray up in the air and let it's heavenly scent fall around you. A little goes a long way so you definitely get your money's worth!

This is just not for me. I was "tricked" into this one. I love Elizabeth Arden, and I smelled a sample of this in a magazine and really liked it and went and bought a big bottle but when I put it on myself it smelled horrible. It was way too strong and gave me a headache. I tried to wear it several times and I had to wash it off. I ended up giving it to a girlfriend and she loves it, so I guess I would say definetly try (AND WEAR) before you buy!

My review on this Provocative is a good one.I tested it at a perfume counter at a major store.It had a smell like what is it?So I tested it it had a sweet scent to me.I want to buy this but will wait until my next trip to get it.I think it has a smell that changes scent on different people.I tried it I like it.My friend tried it she said it was strong.But she smelled it on me and thought it was just right.This design is by E.Arden she knowes her perfume.I love to try on many perfumes and I deside on one if it fits my style and likes.my personel thought about this perfume was great as usual with this brand name>it is a trusted brand name everyone knowes who can be sure if its from Arden it has to be great.The design brand is perfect for anyone no matter who wears t it will have that unique scent.This is one I will buy on my next trip out.Its wonderful.
