  This one smelled nice, but I was expecting more from it because I love the original higher, this is supposed to be more for every day use, but there is something missing for me. I never get compliments while wearing it, just seems ordinary. Smells fresh with a hint of pepper, not my cup of tea.

• Review of Higher Energy by Chris Curran

  This is one of my staple fragrances. The ladies love it, It's professional-smelling, it's a bright citrus (which I love) and like most of Dior's other fragrances, Is very well balanced, has long lasting power, and is obviously created with quality ingredients. Higher and Higher Energy were initially marketed toward a younger, urban and metropolitan crowd. The bottles are very modern looking and are supposedly modeled after sky scrapers. However, I'd say this would be a very safe blind buy or gift for anyone. It is more subtle of a citrus than most of the cituses I own, and contains unique notes that I believe include pear and/or cactus. I'll be purchasing more of this as soon as I run out! If you can get a gift set, go for it! The deodorant might even smell better than the eau de toilette! (and it doesn't irriate my skin, as most designer scented deodorants do.)
