Fresh, distinguished, classic...
In its illustrious career, ever since the year of its creation 1966, Dior’s Eau Sauvage has stood as the bastion of unpretentious elegance within the plethora of masculine scents. Everything about it speaks of dignity, deep pleasure, exhilaration, true joie de vivre!
The zingy lemon top infused with herbal notes of lavender, thyme, basil and cumin is a modernization of the traditional Eau de Cologne formula, a recipe considered not only refreshing but also therapeutic. The discreet touches of green jasmine, rose and lilac in the core jest with the idea of “sauvage” (wild): The man wearing this is very sophisticated, yet still a thoroughbred male who can roar if he likes. The final whiff of mossy, woody (vetiver), musky notes makes it a great standby for every eventuality from business to pleasure. Plus, she will be bringing your worn shirts to her nose in reverie; priceless.
Notes Top Note: Lemon, Petitgrain, Rosemary, Basil Middle Note: Jasmine, Rose, Carnation, Orris Base Note: Oakmoss, Vetiver, Musk

Review of Eau Sauvage by Max
Since the first time I used Eau Sauvage Cologne for Men by Dior (1985) I knew that it was one of only three colognes (Hermes Orange and Lagerfeld) that I'd consider wearing. The clean, freshening citrus initial influence is what I enjoy about it. Although it fades in several hours I always use it. Wish Dior would make it as a talc or create towelettes.

Review of Eau Sauvage by P. Vaughan Russell
I like to arrive before my aftershave, cologne or fragrance does. Eau Sauvage Cologne for Men by Dior is perfect for me. With what I would describe as a subtle, citrus aroma that fades without expiring, I have enjoyed having a "signature fragrance" that my wife, friends and business associates seem to enjoy. I find that even after 20 plus years, I feel as at home with it as I might with any other beloved item for daily enjoyment. The cheapskate in me also finds nourishment from the modest amounts that I must use to achieve the desired result.

Review of Eau Sauvage by Andy
Eau Sauvage became my favortie fragrance as soon as I wore it for the first time. I absoutley love it. The opening lemon is pretty strong and fresh and smells nice, but after a little while it's faded down & you're left with the fantastic "aromatic and musky" scent, still with a hint of citrus. It lasts about 5 to 5 & 1/2 and half hours on me. Only negatives are that I wish it lasted all day and was a bit more powerful. But still excellent
